Important items for interns taking the shuttle:

  • Interns are responsible for being on time to ride the shuttle. The shuttle will depart as noted on the schedule and will not wait for students who are late.
  • SIP staff will email a weekly roster of shuttle sign ups to all interns the previous week. Each intern must show the shuttle driver a print out of that week’s shuttle roster (or a copy of the roster on their smart phone or tablet) along with picture ID as proof of their eligibility.
  • Parents are responsible for pick up at a timely manner as there will be no supervision at the shuttle stops.
  • The SIP program’s intention is to provide a transportation service that is efficient, convenient and secure and to cover the costs without making a profit. Other options for families to consider are private carpools, public transportation, or older interns driving themselves to campus.
